We are seeking a talented individual to join our Fast track team at Marsh Risk Tech, a Marsh business. This role will be based in Mumbai/Pune. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
Manager - IT Business Analysis
As a Lead Business Analyst on the Marsh Application Development team, you will define and prioritize features for essential applications that enhance colleague and client experiences. Collaborating with Business stakeholders, Business product Owner/s, you will gather requirements and influence the product roadmap while working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure a shared understanding of product needs. Utilizing Agile methodologies, you will participate in sprint planning and backlog grooming, communicate product updates, manage expectations, and gather feedback to drive continuous improvement, all while applying your analytical and AI skills to uphold Marsh technology standards throughout the software development life cycle.
We will count on you to:
Review and align the product roadmap with the organization’s strategic goals and objectives.
Understanding of Policy documents, different insurance terms and
Ability to write AI prompts to get valid outputs from the Policy and other related documents.
Leverage AI for requirements detailing
Collaborate with stakeholders, including business users and executives and Product owners to gather feedback, prioritize features, and influence the product roadmap.
Engage with cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, Pod Leads to ensure a shared understanding of product requirements and priorities.
Conduct meetings to gather requirements for new features or enhancements to existing applications.
Facilitate communication and collaboration among team members to drive efficient product development.
Participate in Agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning and backlog grooming, to provide guidance and prioritize product features.
Work with the development team to ensure user stories are well-defined, estimated, and aligned with the product vision.
Communicate product updates, progress, and timelines to stakeholders, including executives, Product owners and end-users.
Address stakeholder concerns, gather feedback, and manage expectations to ensure alignment between delivery and business objectives.
This would be an Individual Contributor role
What you need to have:
Experience with a wide range of Technology roles is desirable, ideally with some form of development engineering background
Rounded and holistic understanding of Agile Methodologies and use of DoD and DoR
Excellent stakeholder management skills including expectations management
Use of ADO board for capturing and communicating requirements
Insurance Functional domain knowledge and experience of managing related products is mandatory
