Serve as the team's leader and principal strategist. Be an expert in the architecture of data warehousing solutions for the Enterprise using multiple platforms. Excel in managing a large data focused team, setting strategic direction, and managing multiple stakeholders. Work with business analysts and engineers to determine how the team can best build data-based solutions. Responsible for leading and managing multiple data engineering teams. Position Requirements: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Science, Data Analytics or a related field and seven years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Must have four years of experience in the following skills: 1) managing a team of engineers and engineering managers in a data or Business Intelligence team; 2) developing and delivering a data strategy that spans multiple teams; 3) processing data with a massively parallel technology such as Redshift, Teradata, Netezza, Spark, or Hadoop based big data solution; 4) using relational database technology such as Redshift, Oracle, MySQL or MS SQL; 5) developing and operating largescale data structures for business intelligence analytics using ETL/ELT processes; 6) communicating with senior management and customers verbally and in writing; and 7) using at least one modern scripting or programming language such as Python, Java, Scala, or NodeJS.
