**About the Role** The Merchant team helps restaurants build successful businesses on Uber Eats. This mission spans the entire merchant lifecycle, from onboarding to getting and fulfilling orders. As a Science manager on this team, you will lead complex projects with your team from end-to-end, including product and lifecycle analysis, experimentation, and measurement foundations for tracking how our products are doing. **\-\-\-\- What You Will Do ----** 1. Lead a team of Scientists and guide the execution of their work 2. Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver on the product rodmap 3. Refine ambiguous questions and generate new hypotheses about the product through a deep understanding of the data, our customers, and our business **\-\-\-\- What You Will Need ----** 1. Undergraduate and/or graduate degree in Math, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or other quantitative fields. 2. 6+ years experience as a Product Analyst, Sr. Data Analyst, or other types of data analysis-focused functions 3. Experience managing a team of data scientists or analysts 4. Advanced SQL expertise and experience using Python or R for data analysis \-\-\-\- Preferred Qualifications ---- 1. Experience in online food delivery or consumer marketplace companies 2. Marketplace experimentation 3. Excellent understanding of statistical principles backed by an academic foundation 4.
