Manager (IC) - Finance Transformation Project Manager

Position Summary

The Aetna/HCB Finance organization is undergoing a strategic transformation to modernize processes, systems, and business partnerships. As part of this journey, we are seeking a Manager, Financial Reporting & Analysis to support key initiatives aligned with Finance Transformation efforts. This role will be instrumental in driving project execution, enabling innovative solutions, and delivering measurable impact across the Aetna/HCB Finance organization.

The ideal candidate brings a strategic mindset, deep expertise in Finance and Accounting, and strong project management capabilities. This role requires the ability to collaborate across functions, influence stakeholders, and deliver solutions that support enterprise-wide transformation goals. The Manager will serve as a liaison between the Aetna/HCB Finance team and the CVS Finance Transformation team, ensuring alignment with business needs and effective execution of initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
•    Support strategic projects to enhance SAP S/4HANA capabilities across Aetna/HCB Finance functions, including General Ledger, Reporting and Accounts Payable/Receivable
•    Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between Aetna/HCB Controllers, broader Finance teams, and the CVS Finance Transformation team to ensure successful delivery of initiatives.
•    Identify and implement process and system enhancements that improve efficiency, consistency, and scalability.
•    Lead stakeholder working sessions to gather and document business requirements and project deliverables.
•    Champion change management efforts to drive adoption of new processes and technologies.
•    Ensure compliance with audit and control requirements across systems and related business processes.


Required Qualifications
•    5+ years of relevant work experience, including experience in health insurance accounting, finance or financial systems.
•    3+ years of experience with Oracle GL.

Preferred Qualifications
•    Excellent organizational and time management skills; able to manage competing priorities and communicate effectively. 
•    Strong interpersonal and communication skills across all levels of the organization.
•    Hands on SAP/HANA/S4 experience

Education
•    Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in accounting or finance or related work experience

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$66,330.00 - $145,860.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
