Become part of Northrop Grumman Global Command and Control Engineering Leadership team. Perform Functional Management tasks for employees performing the following tasks: Designs, develops, documents, tests and debugs applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions. Conducts multidisciplinary research and collaborates with Software Engineers, equipment designers and/or hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems for product and commercial software. Determines computer user needs; analyzes system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls; prepares operating instructions; designs and develops compilers and assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems. Ensures software standards are met. This position is located in Huntsville, AL.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in STEM with 5 years of relevant technical experience or Masters Degree with 3 years of relevant technical experience.
- Demonstrated leadership and managerial skills including team building and navigation, personal and career development, technical and inter-personal problem resolution, work planning and allocation.
- Current, active Secret Clearance or higher
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in Software or Cyber Engineering related to the development and delivery of US Army air defense command and control systems.
- Proven technical management experience preferably in either program IPT, R&D or Advanced Systems, technology, and/ or functional environments.
- Demonstrated behavior as a driver for change and continuous improvement.
- Previous Functional Management Experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
Primary Level Salary Range: $124,000.00 - $186,000.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
