Responsibilities & Requirements

The Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) maintains operational responsibility for one or more nursing units on a twenty-four hour a day basis.  Responsible for planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care to patients in all settings where nursing care is provided in collaboration with other health care providers. The CNM is accountable for the provision of safe patient care, compliance with department strategic objectives, participation in performance and practice improvement activities.  The delivery of evidence-based nursing care at Kettering Health Network reflects the philosophies, missions, vision and values of the organization and nursing department

 

Requirements:

Licensed in the state of Ohio as a Registered Nurse Bachelor of Science in Nursing or a bachelor’s degree in another field if willing to begin a program leading to a Bachelor of Science or master’s degree in nursing within 12 months of hire and completed within 3 yearsBLSNational certification by the end of 2nd year in positionMinimum of two years of progressive clinical experience with management/demonstrated leadership skillsCritical Care and/or PACU experience required

 

Preferred Qualifications

Master's in nursing preferred.

A master's may be mandatory if required by a regulatory agency

PACU experience strongly preferred
