Manager Cancer Care
POSITION PURPOSE AND SUMMARY:

The Manager of Cancer Care provides clinical and administrative leadership to an integrated network of support services within the Oncology Service Line. This includes clinical oversight of nurse navigation and psychosocial oncology. This person will oversee the operational functions of the Cancer Resource Center, including patient centered programs in mind-body-spirit as well as cancer support groups. This role also carries accountability for community engagement, cancer screening programs, outreach initiatives and fund raising activities to strengthen and expand our supportive care resources. This person will also have strong analytical skills who can collect and interpret data to identify program strengths, weaknesses, and gaps in care, and translate these findings into recommendations. This person will uphold the philosophy, policies and standards of oncology patient care and support.

 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

 

The ideal candidate for this position will possess:

a licensed clinical professional degree with five years of management experience required strong analytical skills who can collect and interpret data to identify programs strengths, weaknesses, and gaps in care, and translate those findings into actional recommendations that guide future initiatives.      a value for professionalism and confidentiality while exemplifying leadership in overseeing staff and guiding the development of policies, procedures and programs. has experience in managing responsibilities with fiscal accountability and operational efficiency. is project oriented, organized, and able to lead committees for events like Cancer Survivors Day and Lights of Life. Participates on the Perennial Ball committee.
