Job Summary:
This position’s primary responsibility is portfolio management, managing multiple portfolio priorities for US, Canada, Europe generics. The responsibilities include preparing product assessment, business case, investment evaluations for existing & new opportunities. The position serves as the primary representative and portfolio information provider to sales & marketing, project management, R&D, new product launches, supply chain, finance and other stakeholders.
Responsibilities and Tasks
Responsible for preparing & maintaining business cases for existing & new project pipeline Preparing portfolio prioritization /portfolio ranking report to R&D and other key stakeholders. R&D investment evaluation, facilitate approval of investments and coordinate with R&D for techno commercial decisions Project go, no-go evaluation & circulation of project decisions Responsible for providing details on portfolio to sales & marketing for new launch planning and support for supply & commercialization of new product Identify and suggest portfolio gaps & learning thereof Maintains regular contact with all internal and external stakeholders Continuous identification of new Business Development opportunities Evaluate various tools for digitalization of pipeline portfolio
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
General knowledge of pharmaceutical projects; project development, clinical, regulatory and commercial aspects. Proficiency in using IQVIA, IPD, Evaluate, Global Data, Medi-Span, or other equivalent data mining tools Strong analytical skill sets focused in financial/data modeling and forecasting General understanding of building financial models including P&L, cash flow, profitability analysis, sensitivity analysis. Excellent PowerPoint, Excel, Word skills. Strong interpersonal, problem solving, conflict resolution and decision-making skills. Strong oral and written communication skills.
