We’re looking for you to join our team as a Manager 2 - Pricing and Cost Estimating based in Linthicum, MD. This is a full-time onsite position that offers the 9/80 schedule.
What You’ll Get to Do
The Manager 2 - Pricing and Cost Estimating will be responsible for all Factory Labor & Material Estimating activities for BWI/Annapolis & Sykesville campuses and will report directly to the Sector Manager of Labor/Material Estimating.
Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Lead a team of 13 professionals responsible for pricing proposal bill of materials, preparing factory labor estimates (BWI), coordinating the development of the Mission Systems Sector cost factors & cost estimating relationships, maintaining estimating tools and QUEST, and supporting fact finding/negotiations and US Government audits as required. Ensure Estimating System compliance, advise leadership of pricing requirements/obligations and provide interpretation of Request for Proposal (RFP) requirements.Function in a fast-paced proposal environment and collaborate with Sector management, business management counterparts, global supply chain and capture/proposal teamsThe ideal candidate will have experience leading highly collaborative teams in anticipating problems, resolving difficult situations, and effectively communicating with all levels of stakeholders.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of related professional experience - OR - a Master's degree with 6 years of related professional experience Understanding of FAR/DFARS and other applicable government regulations.Experience in pricing, contracts, global supply chain or business managementExperience with U.S. Government, commercial, and international proposals.Ability to travel domestically 10% of the time.US Citizenship is required.The ability to obtain and maintain a DoW Secret level clearance.Preferred Qualifications:
MBA or other relevant master’s degree.Previous exposure to material estimating toolsFamiliarity with the factory labor process (routings & standards, etc). Experience with validation of estimates, estimating approaches, and customer negotiations· Advanced skill level with Microsoft Office Suite and SAP.Active Security level clearanceWhat We Can Offer You

Primary Level Salary Range: $139,800.00 - $209,800.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
