Audit & Assurance – Financial Statement Audit Manager

You’ll also be responsible for mentoring Audit staff, providing them with developmental feedback and career guidance.
Work you’ll do
As an Audit & Assurance Manager, you will oversee day-to-day operations of audit engagements. You’ll closely work with the team to tackle accounting, auditing, and other issues, while using audit tools and technology. Your responsibilities will involve:
Preparing the audit strategyPlanning and executing auditsSetting and monitoring engagement budgetsIdentifying and supervising staff to ensure execution of the audit approachGuiding integration of overseas resources to drive efficient executionLeveraging artificial intelligence, advanced analytics, and data visualizationsProcess flow automation to perform data analysis of client dataParticipating in the proposal process for new clients and projectsProviding timely client service, deliver high quality work and strengthen client relationshipsDemonstrating strong judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilitiesEffectively work in a virtual and team environmentThe team

Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field5+ years of public accounting or equivalent experienceMust hold active US CPA license in the state in which your home office will be located prior to beginning employmentAbility to travel up to 50%, on average, based on the type of work you perform and the clients servedYou should reside within a commutable distance of your assigned office with the ability to commute daily, if requiredYou can expect to co-locate on average 3 times a week with variations based on types of work/projects and client locationsLimited immigration sponsorship may be availablePreferred:
Advanced degree in accounting or related fieldExperience with US GAAP and IFRSExperience with internal controlsFlexibility to accommodate for potential extensive travelThe wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $97,875 to $163,125.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
