Manager, Wealth Management Canada (WMC) Finance

Job Description

What is the Opportunity?

In this role, you will be a trusted finance advisor to multiple lines of business within Wealth Management Canada (WMC), RBC Dominion Securities Retail, PHN Investment Counsel Office, Royal Trust and other lines of business with WMC. Key responsibilities include supporting financial planning, forecasting, and reporting, as well as on-going decision support and driver-based analysis. You will provide support and analysis for the WMC Finance team.

What Will You Do?

Support monthly management reports and financial analysis for RBC DS Retail and other lines of businessPrepare the WMC Monthly Operating deckLead the development, maintenance and enhancement of financial models to support strategic financial planning and reportingPrepare monthly revenue and expense accruals and reconciliationsAssist in maintaining appropriate performance management drivers and metricsSupport ad hoc requests in a timely manner

What Do You Need to Succeed?

Must have:

University degree in Accounting, Finance or Business AdministrationStrong knowledge of accounting principles, financial and management reporting skillsAdvanced proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint1-3 years of related corporate finance experienceStrong analytical, technical and problem solving skillsStrong teamwork and cooperation skillsAttention to detail for consistent and accurate resultsExcellent communication skills, both oral & written, with good interpersonal skills to establish relationships across all levels of the enterprise

Nice to have:

Knowledge and understanding of banking products and processes, particularly the brokerage and investment industryExperience with unique financial systems such as EPM (Cognos TM1) and ADP
