The Manager, Seller Planning - ETS, is responsible for developing, executing, and communicating sales plans/budgets and forecasts to support marketplace sales for the ETS (Entertainment, Toys, and Seasonal) division. You will create, maintain, and improve plans to ensure sales, profit and other financial goals are met. You will be part of the Strategic Initiatives team and work closely with the general manager, category leads, strategic account managers, business analysts, data & analytics team and site merchandising.

You’ll make an impact by:

Leading the divisional annual planning process: in collaboration with Sr. Planning Manager, finance and marketplace leadership, drive AOP (annual operating plan) process, inputs, and present outcomes for ETS division, including tops-down and bottoms-up approach to meet goals.Managing divisional monthly / quarterly forecast: perform monthly planning and forecasting at the category/subcategory and seller level; review actual sales performance which could lead to reforecasting of sales and assortment needs based on trends; provide recaps on monthly and quarterly hindsight to drive future strategic decisions; clearly communicate final aligned forecast to marketplace leadership and division/category leadership.Driving the execution of multiple business projects: identifying seller and operational needs; developing and communicating business plans and priorities; removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance; identifying performance standards; measuring progress and adjusting performance; accordingly, developing contingency plans; and demonstrating adaptability and supporting continuous learning.Driving opportunity sizing and evaluation of new capabilities: develop analyses in support of new product launches and business concepts, to support prioritization; following key launches, analyze results in support of hindsight and future planning.Partnering cross-functionally: build relationships with cross-functional partners to achieve aligned goals for the business; collaborate with WFS (Walmart fulfillment services) to identify opportunities and resolve blockers; collaborate with marketplace finance, analytics, leads and strategic account managers on planning and forecasting.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or MBA in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.4+ years’ experience in data analytics, strategic or merchandise planning, financial planning, omni-channel merchandising, or a related field. E-commerce and e-commerce marketplace experience strongly desired.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to construct simple and impactful message from complex analysis.Strong organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including v-lookups and pivot tables.Experience leveraging data visualization tools (Looker, Tableau) to access insights and adjust reports.
