Your Mission As part of Nuvei’s global growth and its current expansion in North America, we are seeking a Manager to support and develop Nuvei’s relationships with major card schemes (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, and local schemes). In this role, you will work closely with internal teams and external partners to support scheme-related initiatives, ensure alignment with scheme requirements, and contribute to Nuvei’s growth in this key region. You will be involved in ongoing communication related to mandates, new releases, rules, and compliance requirements, and will assist in coordinating implementation across relevant teams. This role offers a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the payment's ecosystem, work cross-functionally, and contribute meaningfully to Nuvei’s continued success. Key Responsibilities • Support ongoing relationships with card schemes and their products and solutions • Coordinate internally with Product, Acquiring Development, Compliance, Risk, and Operations teams to support scheme-related initiatives • Assist in tracking scheme mandates, bulletins, rule changes, and new releases, and help translate them into clear internal requirements • Support projects to ensure alignment with scheme requirements and timelines • Contribute to Gaming & Gambling registrations with relevant US schemes to support merchant onboarding • Participate in cross-functional initiatives involving product enhancements, compliance updates, and operational improvements • Maintain clear and consistent communication with internal stakeholders regarding scheme-related topics • Assist in preparing reports, documentation, and updates related to scheme activity and compliance • Build working relationships with internal teams and external partners, including schemes, banks, and other acquirers Qualifications • 2–5 years of experience in the payments industry (preferably with an acquirer, PSP, or fintech) • Familiarity with card schemes and basic scheme rules and processes • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in parallel • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and sometimes ambiguous environment • Detail-oriented with strong follow-up and execution skills • Good written and verbal communication skills • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a fast-evolving payments landscape • Team player with a collaborative mindset • BA or equivalent in a relevant field
