The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate should include the following:
Manage Safety, OSHA, Environmental, and Governmental Regulatory programs to ensure legal compliance and accuracy. Identify, develop, and implement training programs, policies, and procedures based on organizational needs. Oversee accident investigations and collaborate with HR on the Worker’s Compensation program. Lead the Safety Committee and Government Compliance Committee. Ensure compliance with EPA-required programs, including Risk Management, Emergency Planning, and Air Emissions. Stay updated on safety, training, and environmental regulations through ongoing education and training.The background of the successful candidate must include the following:
A Bachelor’s degree 5+ yrs of EHS management experience A solid work history A US citizen or possess a green card A residence within 45 minutes
