Manager, RRWB Wealth Accumulation (Retirement) Operations
Position Summary

Work you’ll do
This position is responsible for supporting Rewards, Recognition and Well-being (RRWB) in the management of Deloitte’s US Wealth Accumulation program, consisting of 401(k) savings and profit-sharing defined contribution plans and cash balance defined benefit plans, with a focus on plan operations and compliance. Coordination with various internal and external stakeholder groups is important to this role’s success. Specific responsibilities of this role will include:

Supervise daily retirement plan operations in accordance with company guidelines and regulatory requirements. Ensure plans are administered appropriately, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.Recommend opportunities for continuous improvement based on organizational objectives, stakeholder feedback, and knowledge of leading practices. Manage projects to implement continuous improvement across internal stakeholders and external vendors.Coordinate with third-party defined contribution recordkeeper to manage bi-weekly payroll processes, annual processes, invoice processing, quarterly SLAs, incident reporting, and day-to-day administration.Facilitate the coordination between HRIS operations, payroll, and the defined contribution recordkeeper to validate that the defined contribution plan contribution allocations are operating smoothly and accurately. Review and approve business and technical specifications for process and technology changes. Support the implementation and testing of systems and interfaces for new program features, particularly those that are required by new legislation. Manage and perform reconciliations, reports, and analyses for ongoing processes and special projects. Ensure accuracy of vendor interface files and system configuration and develop solutions to mitigate benefit administration issues.Manage and perform root cause analysis to identify and resolve data discrepancies and questions. Manage external outreach and escalations from individuals including stakeholders, defined benefit and defined contribution plan participants, and coordinate issue resolution across teams.Provide counseling to management, partners, principals, directors, employees, and retirees regarding provisions of existing/new benefits, policies and processes, as needed.Review and approve defined benefit plan lump sum and annuity payments/funding.Respond to internal and external audit requests.Manage tasks related to compliance with provisions of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA), including the preparation of reports and filings required by federal and state agencies.Prepare and review presentations/recommendations for management consideration based on ongoing analysis of escalated cases and ongoing improvements in technology and processes; manage feedback in an effective and timely manner.

The individual selected for this role must have a basic knowledge of all pertinent federal and state regulations, filing and compliance requirements both adopted and pending affecting employee benefit programs, including ERISA, and DOL requirements. Individual must have the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with appropriate discretion and work in a virtual team environment with a client service focus.

Qualifications
Required:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalentMinimum 7 years of related experience in defined contribution and defined benefit retirement programsExperience working with pertinent federal and state regulations, filing and compliance requirements affecting employee benefit programs, including ERISA and DOL requirementsExperience with MS-Office tools - Word, Excel, Access, Project, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams Experience managing deliverables and performing job responsibilities in a virtual environmentOccasional travel up to four times per year may be required for in-person collaborationMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

Preferred:

Strong knowledge of HRIS systems and data transmissionExperience leading and advising clients/stakeholders through complex challengesStrong communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage with and influence stakeholders of all levels Problem-solver with the ability to analyze, synthesize and draw conclusions from data Experience managing multiple concurrent projects against competing deadlines

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.  The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.  At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.  A reasonable estimate of the current range is $97600 - $179900.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
