Manager, Retail Marketing
Overview The Manager, Retail is part of the Integrated Marketing Group of Foot Locker Europe and is a key driver in executing pan-European strategies into retail marketing concepts and programs. Working closely with the wider Integrated Marketing teams, the Retail Manager supports the development of Foot Locker Europe’s marketing initiatives to support the brand vision and strategy across retail consumers touchpoints. Responsibilities Retail Strategy leads and manages the development of retail marketing programs for Foot Locker Europe and Kids Foot Locker, supporting the launch of key brand and product concepts. In this process, the Manager, Retail strives for continuous improvement of the consumers experiences at retail with the view to increasing brand recognition, loyalty and conversion. is responsible for the execution of all retail campaigns, which includes but not limited to; building store plans, development of retail briefs against a set budget and working closely with our print suppliers on workback schedules and printing needs for our 600+ doors across Europe. acts as a guardian of store needs and how this differs across different territories. Includes but not limited to; language nuances, health & safety information, and different store format needs. GTM and Campaign Management works closely with the omnichannel team and cross functionally in order to ensure a smooth internal process while defining the seasonal GTM plan, which include brand vendor campaigns, Foot Locker campaigns, and commercial campaigns, all at an executional level. works closely with the Senior Manager, GTM on seasonal planning and campaign management. They will be a key internal stakeholders to guarantee business and strategic alignment between all parties, development of priorities and seasonal planning that is in line with business targets and marketing objectives. is the guardian of the retail roadmap, working with the GTM team on seasonal priorities and focuses for the Marketing team. Working cross-functionally that information is kept up-to-date in a timely fashion. works closely with the wider Integrated Marketing Team and the CX (VM) Team in order to ensure a smooth internal process while defining the seasonal GTM plan. Creative Development in collaboration with the marketing and print production agencies, the Manager, Retail manages the production process from concept development through to creative output, in adherence to projects timelines and budgets. Budget Planning the Retail Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of retail budget. They will support the Senior Director monthly in finance calls, providing updates on campaign costs, reporting and tracking in budget. Foot Locker may involve associates in tasks and projects not listed above, should it be relevant to their skillset and should it be in the best interest of both parties. Qualifications University degree preferably related to Business Administration or Marketing Minimum 5 years of relevant experience within a large retail organization, a branded consumer goods company or a retail agency. Thorough understanding and passion for Retail Ability to think both strategically and operationally. Project management, budget management and scheduling skills. Ability to build strategic internal and external relationships, strong negotiation skills. Fluent in English, knowledge of other European languages is a plus. Broad understanding of the Sports-Fashion industry and a passion for it.
