As a Private Brands Manager, Product Development – Active (Fashion), you will play a pivotal role in the end-to-end development of fashion products, with a specialized focus on apparel and activewear. This position is dedicated to Fashion Product Development, Production, Sourcing, and Raw Materials, ensuring that every product meets the highest standards of quality, trend relevance, and value for our customers. You’ll serve as an advocate for our customers and see the products you develop, from ideation to finished product review, come to life in stores and online. This is an opportunity to develop fashion-forward products for Walmart customers, offering great value and product quality. You’ll be the expert for Private Brand fashion products within your categories of responsibility and leverage the scale and access of the Walmart system to truly impact the business and the lives of millions of customers worldwide. You’ll sweep us off our feet if: You have a passion for developing fashion products and a keen understanding of the apparel and activewear market, with attention to detail on who our core Walmart customer isYou are a strong influencer and problem solver who enjoys working with cross-functional partners in the Fashion Product Development process, including design, sourcing, and production teamsYou enjoy learning about the latest fashion trends, materials, and market innovationsYou are data savvy: you can analyze performance, understand trends, and translate results into product and brand executionYou are tenacious, dedicated, and thrive working with ownership, autonomy, and a healthy dose of competitionYou have 5+ years of experience in Fashion Product Development, Production, Sourcing, and Raw Materials, with a proven track record in the apparel industryYou are a self-starter and can perform all product development actions independentlyYou can lead as a voice of the customer in product development reviews, cost negotiation, and cross-functional forumsYou proactively lead sourcing and country of origin strategies, with a deep understanding of raw material selection and vendor managementYou can optimize complex workflows across design, development, sourcing, and vendor touch points specific to fashion and apparelYou anticipate bottlenecks and adjust proactively to maintain calendar adherence and product qualityYou champion operational rigor to adopt best practices in PLM, 3D, and AI insights for fashion product development You’ll make an impact by: Collaborating to assist in setting the category strategy for Private Brands: you’ll assist with strategy development, through deep customer understanding, market trends, and industry knowledge specific to fashion and apparelBuilding relationships: you’ll use your influencing and leadership skills to build partnerships with suppliers, merchants, business partners, and other Private Brand team members in the fashion supply chainInfluencing decisions: you’ll collaborate with merchants to influence decisions about nearly every aspect of your fashion products including replenishment, supply chain, manufacturers, store operations, planning, assortment, layouts, budgets, modular, and pricingDelivering on Key Business metrics: You’ll work with Sourcing to deliver quality fashion products whilst ensuring key business metrics are achievedKnowing your category: You’ll know your private brand fashion customers and suppliers better than anyone and are always thinking about what is next for your businessQuality: Quality will be a constant area of focus, both in continuous improvement but also in maintaining business-required systems and protocols for fashion and apparel Benefits & Perks:

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
