Job Description

Manager of Platform Cloud Architecture will lead a team of Senior Engineers and Architects responsible for designing and implementing all cloud post-based deployments of storage, compute and software applications via automation for NBCUniversal O&T. The core responsibilities include (but are not limited to) overseeing development of automated deployment initiatives, integration of the post cloud platform with different cloud providers and existing on-prem services; research and test new SaaS offerings as defined by business needs.

Basic Requirements:

4+ years management experience preferredManage a team of engineers across geographical locationsDefine technical cloud Post strategy and long-term roadmap for the platformLead automation initiatives for software and Cloud infrastructure deploymentsIdentify areas where automation can improve productivity and drive cost savingsOversee cloud and contract budgets and participate in long range planningDrive vendors to adopt cloud best practices for automated software deployment and resiliency using cloud native functionsDefine projects to improve systems and procedures through meetings and written updates Lead platform upgrade initiatives and develop L2 team to perform those tasksManage L3 escalations for all platform related incidents by communicating with vendors, clients, and other engineering teams to resolve issues and escalate to leadership as neededProvide monthly reporting and oversee documentation of platform standards.Making sure the team meets all SLAsAbility to work effectively with others across geographical locationsMust be flexible and adaptable to changing requirements and schedulesAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionStrong interpersonal skills and adept at building relationships with all technical and operational areas across NBCU

Fully Remote: This position has been designated as fully remote, meaning that the position is expected to contribute from a non-NBCUniversal worksite, most commonly an employee’s residence.

Salary range: $130,000 - $160,000 (bonus eligible)
