Manager, Personalization Strategy

Position Purpose:

We are seeking a strategic, cross-functional leader to serve as the Personalization Strategy Manager, responsible for identifying and defining requirements to deliver personalized customer experiences at scale across digital and physical channels. This role will act as a critical bridge between Product, Engineering, Data, Marketing, and Customer Experience teams, ensuring alignment on personalization goals and technology capabilities. This Manager will bring an understanding of product development processes, customer journey mapping, and modern tech stacks enabling personalization, such as CDPs, DCOs, CMS, CRM, and orchestration engines.  Job duties will include: defining business and technical requirements for scalable personalization across digital (web, mobile, email, app) and offline (in-store, call center) channels, collaborating with stakeholders to align personalization strategies with broader business objectives and customer segmentation models, and acting as the connective tissue across Product, Engineering, Data Science, Marketing, and Customer Strategy teams.


Key Responsibilities:

10% Brand Awareness - Help drive demand creation by creating brand awareness activities for internal associates10% Execution - Organic Initiative Execution: Lead and support cross-functional project teams to manage and execute high value initiatives, special projects and requests for Marketing and Business leaders20% Projects - Manage online and offline marketing programs throughout the project lifecycle; including discovery and initial assessment, program definition, negotiation of key partnerships, development of creative, program launch, measurement and reporting that supports execution of the planning and activation process60% Strategies - Strategy Formulation and Activation: Design and conduct analysis to evaluate customer and market landscapes, competitors, and current business strategies to build an enterprise brand strategy and channel communications plan consistent with our multi-channel marketing strategies

Travel Requirements:

Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.


Physical Requirements:

Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.


Working Conditions:

Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.


Minimum Qualifications:

Must be eighteen years of age or older.Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.


Preferred Qualifications:

Excellent written and verbal communication skillsA minimum of 5+ years' experience in marketing, communications, or media planning, either at another company or at a media/advertising agencyThe ability to link business goals to communication strategies and creative conceptsA strong formal and informed advocate of brand communications strategies and tactics, particularly to internal stakeholdersA high interest in developments in technology and media that can affect brand communications, and the ability to communicate and advocate to all relevant brand constituencies how these developments can change the competitive and media landscapeMust be able to manage multiple internal and external partnerships and coalesce them into a united front supporting key brand initiatives
