You ensure that technical, scientific and business programs are completed on time and on budget. In addition, you manage the talent in your assigned area and jointly set the direction for your categories in your Business Unit. As a member of the Mexico Business Unit R&D Packaging Leadership team, you interact with all levels of clients and technology organizations.
**How you will contribute**
In this role, you define and lead the packaging development plan at the Mexico BU. This includes leading innovation, quality improvement, productivity, brand maintenance and sustainability. You will use your area’s strategy and translate it into technical plans, platforms, and programs and deliver on associated business budget targets and plans. You will offer consumer insights to provide input to programs and to help define a technical strategy. You are part of the R&D Packaging Leadership team and prioritize packaging resources to develop and execute local innovation and renovation programs. As a people leader, you will coach employees and develop them to build the talent pipeline. You will also ensure there is a robust intellectual property strategy in place, manage compliance to Mondelēz-relevant policies and government regulations. As a member of the Mexico packaging leadership team, you will also develop the technical program strategy.

+ Formulating strategy, planning, problem solving, project management while operating in a dynamic and outcome-oriented environment
**Additional job requirements:**
+ English: fluent business level.
+ Solid experience as People Manager.
+ Previous experience and solid knowledge in the Packaging function.
This role is based in our R&D Center (Tlalnepantla, Estado de Mexico) and face-to-face activity will be required as part of our hybrid model.
