Position Summary:

Responsible for the results of the following indicators: Security, Quality, Operational KPIs, Delivery and Cost, for the product that is carried out in plant after M8. You must apply the philosophy of HPS. Develop Harman skills in employees.

Job Responsibilities:

General

Supports recurring meetings, both internal and external, to track the progress of the project.Comply with quality systems and environmental management implemented in the company.Review the strategic points that relate to internal meetings and expectations of customers.Represent the needs of the customer in internal functions according to the requirements of the Quality System and Customer Specific Requirements.Initiate, recommend or provide solutions through established communication channels.Lead activities for customer visits and auditsDefine and communicate the project team (site and extended) and resources assigned to the project

Mass production

Maintains the status of the project after M8 to EOP, using tools like projectbook according to internal procedures.Deliver production product per customer requirementsDrive material and build plans to ship on time through proper customer demand review and cascadingDemand planning – delivery commitment to demandCoordinates change management related to shop floorComply with the review of the status of PLM.Coordinates all changes to the process with Engineering areas and the implementation.Coordinates all changes to the product with Program Managers and the implementation.Comply with the review of the status of PLM.Identify and record changes with the product, process in part history.Foster positive environment and ensure development to create high-performance MBU teamEstablish a weekly/bi-weekly meeting with MBU team to review KPI status and coordinate resources to meet team commitmentsWork closely with CBU and customer to provide solid data for business planning and long term capacity planningSustain Customer Specific Requirements confirmation after M7 (PV readiness)Secure cycle times sustaining against capacity plan throughout program life

New product Introduction

Drive new project capacity plan, production allocation and layout plan for new projectCoordinate the release of all appropriate documentation: PFMEAS, flowcharts, Control Plans, Visual Aids, etc.Establish project Budget and CAPEX applicationMonitor the creation of Purchase Requests for all equipment necessary for the project with Process & Test Engineering.Follow up with Program Managers the outstanding points in the bull-DV.Follow up with Program Manager the outstanding points in the runs of PV.Follow up with Program Manager the outstanding points in the runs of R@R and PSO.Coordinate the new models first running, maturity gates, compliance assurance.Kick off and lead APQP control run reviewVerify BOM correctness with cross functional teamsLead control run material readiness reviewResponsible for pre-production customer deliveries plus engineering, sales marketing and PV testing sample deliveries.Work with PM closely to solve engineering related issues to meet project maturity requirementDrive project risk management, escalate to proper CPM or management team on time if potential risks and proposed alternativesLead TOW (Transfer of Work) between plants/sites project management

Customer demand

Coordinate product changes to ensure minimal obsolescenceSupervising Customer Analyst team activitiesSupervising demand accuracy and fluctuation to identify action plan to mitigate supply and cost risksDrive the definition and execution of corrective actions derived from Delivery KPI reviews

Capacity increase after M8

Drive and permanently maintain project capacity plan and layout plan for needed capacity increase through plant EngineeringCoordinate the update of all appropriate documentationEstablish capacity increase Budget and CAPEX application though plant EngineeringMonitor the creation of Purchase Requests for all equipment necessaryDocument equipment and line qualification plans per customer and HARMAN requirementsDrive capacity increase risk management, escalate to responsible CPM or management team on time in case of potential risks and propose alternatives/measures

Basic Qualifications:
