As the Manager, Marketplace Channels, you will focus on delivering the day-to-day operations and driving strategic growth levers for CVS Health’s 3rd Party Marketplace business. It involves cross-functional collaboration, P&L ownership, and driving innovation in digital merchandising and customer experience. This role requires great intellectual curiosity to delve into the retail business results, and understand what trends are emerging in the market, on a category, brand, and SKU level such that we are continuously optimizing the experience and offerings on marketplace platforms. **Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities:** **Strategic Planning:** 30% of time + Supports project level work against short- and long-term strategy for 3rd Party Marketplace partners including assortment plans, pricing strategies, promotional calendars, and technology enhancements. + Develops and nurtures strong relationships with cross functional partners including front store category management, digital product, engineering, legal, procurement, and marketing. + Analyzes overall Delivery Marketplace business. Understand performance and market trends. Forecast business financials based on performance, new launches, and market trends. + Manages the relationship between assigned 3rd party vendors, setting up contact negotiations, working on SOWs and managing relationship during the duration of the contract. + Assigns appropriate timelines and accountabilities for items, empowering the team to drive action steps to completion. + Leverages thought partners (Senior leaders, corporate partners, peers, team, etc.) as needed to gain feedback, insights and alignment to drive projects forward + Navigates ambiguity and change to achieve goals despite potential obstacles. Builds replicable process where there is none. + Aligns teams to establish, update and maintain a clear set of actions including interdependencies needed to achieve overall goals. + Support the delivery of strategic initiatives and KPI performance. **Delivers Results Through Execution:** 40% of time + Manage Delivery Marketplace P&L including analyzing results, forecasting, and developing mitigation plans to ensure goals are achieved. + Partners with Delivery Marketplace partners to influence and improve the shopping experience. + Develops and executes content plans including featured product or promotion shelves for Delivery Marketplace platforms. + Manage relationship with CVS digital product and engineering to ensure product feeds flow smoothly and assortment is displayed flawlessly on partner platforms. + Develop and support marketplace event/promotions strategy, planning, and execution providing insights to cross-functional partners on historical campaign performance and customer behavior. Execute digital event activities within agreed timeframes at the agreed levels of quality and provide feedback and insights on campaign effectiveness. + Leverages data, insights, and analytics to influence stakeholders and makes recommendations as appropriate. + Fully embraces organizational improvement initiatives, acting as a change agent with one’s own team and peers and partners. + Provides both constructive and appreciative feedback on ideas and key initiatives. + Leverages a results-oriented mindset, using metrics to monitor improvements. **Drive Innovation:** 30% of time + Drives technology enhancement roadmap for Delivery Marketplaces in partnership with vendors and the digital product team. + Identifies or supports business growth opportunities with both existing and new partners in the Delivery Marketplace space. + Partners with analytics to synthesize complex partner and product performance data as well as voice of customer data to form actionable insights to accelerate growth. + Partners with vendors to understand market insights and trends, identify new opportunities and innovative ways to drive the business. + Looks for ways to break through implementation barriers rather than be impeded by them. + Thinks Enterprise, leveraging partnerships and 3P platforms or audiences to drive other parts of the business beyond front store retail. **Essential Qualifications and Functions:** The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, be a self-starter, and able to be highly productive in a dynamic, collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will have the following knowledge / skill / ability: + 6+ years’ experience in merchandising, financial planning, or related field, especially in a consumer-focused, multiple product category e-commerce sites + Understanding of retail financial metrics and ability to model forecasts + Regular and reliable attendance during normal working hours, as established by the leader. + Flexibility to take on additional tasks as directed by supervisor or manager. + Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience + **Travel-** Ability, and willingness, to travel regularly, 10% of time, based on needs of the business. Ability to: + Deliver high quality professional communications, presentations, responses and analyses on a wide range of requests by working quickly, independently and with minimal direction. + Derive actionable insights through data reviews and analysis. Generate data-driven recommendations to better the business. + Communicate clearly to small and large groups internally and externally to lead complex projects to completion. + Collaborate cross functionally with leaders and colleagues’ enterprise wide to solution, implement, and drive results. + Plan and execute short- and long-term goals. **Preferred Qualifications:** + 8+ years’ experience in merchandising, financial planning, digital marketing, or related fields, especially in a consumer-focused, multiple product category e-commerce sites + Experience working as a strong merchant, managing a P&L strongly preferred. + Demonstrated ability to understand not only business KPIs and initiatives, but also possess a deep understanding of the technical backend and be able to participate in project release and business requirement documentation + 8+ years’ experience engaging and inspiring teams to achieve both short-term, and long-term goals. + 8+ years’ experience influencing without authority. + Strategic thinker complemented with ability to develop and communicate solid plan + 5+ years’ advanced excel, Tableau + 5+ years’ experience building high-performing teams. + Passion for digital and how new offerings and capabilities can meaningfully drive engagement, empowerment, and the overall consumer experience in health care + Understanding of market trends and how convenience and emerging technologies impact the future of retail + Agency, Consultant or Start-up background strongly preferred. **Education** + Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience required **Anticipated Weekly Hours** 40 **Time Type** Full time **Pay Range** The typical pay range for this role is: $66,330.00 - $145,860.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. Our people fuel our future.
