Overview of the role:

Saputo is seeking a Manager, Insights & Strategy for an existing opportunity within our organization.

Reporting to the Director Insights & Strategy, the Manager, Insights and Strategy is an insights leader and key business partner dedicated to delivering consumer, shopper, category and customer insights to support strategy development and drive profitable category growth.

How you will make contributions that matter:

Leverage both custom and syndicated data to extract insights and provide actionable recommendations

Proactively conduct category analysis to highlight issues and opportunities

Identify consumer and shopper research needs, lead end-to-end research process

 Ensure research insights are socialized within the organization and customers

Collaborate with Director and key stakeholders to develop category strategy

 Track strategic KPIs, conduct analysis to explain results, provide recommendations 

 Support Sales team with category analysis and key account plan development

 Contribute to Innovation by highlighting emerging trends and category white space opportunities, assist in new product business case development and post launch tracking

 Support marketing on brand and pack design research, marketing plans and consumer communications

Provide recommendations on product assortment, planogram development, price and promotions

Inspire and mentor direct report to promote insights and analytics excellence

Support and maintain Saputo Dairy Products Canada G.P.’s quality standards

You are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications:

University degree – Business preferred

 5+ years progressive category management, insights or related CPG experience

 Expert knowledge of NIQ Discover platform and retailer POS / shopper data system

 Exceptional analytical skills with ability to lead and develop category stores that influence decision making and lead to positive outcomes

 Naturally curious with a deep understanding of consumer and shopper behaviour

 Solid organizational and time management skills

 Excellent communication and presentation skills

 Able to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment

 Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint

 Experience leading market research and managing suppliers

 Solid understanding of Canadian CPG & Foodservice landscape

Salary: $92,795 to $121,795

*Salary offers will vary commensurate with experience, education, skills, and training.
