The Manager, MyChart & Patient Experience provides strategic and operational leadership for the delivery, optimization, and ongoing support of Sentara’s Epic MyChart and Patient Experience applications. This role oversees day-to-day operations, manages a high-performing analyst team, ensures operational readiness, and drives successful testing and release cycles. The manager partners closely with clinical, operational, and IT stakeholders to ensure digital capabilities enhance patient access, communication, and workflow efficiency across the organization.

Key ResponsibilitiesLead daily operations for Epic MyChart and Patient Experience modules, including MyChart Bedside, Welcome, On My Way, Care Companion, and Hello WorldOversee issue resolution, workflow optimization, testing cycles, and release managementManage and develop a team of analysts through coaching, mentorship, and performance feedbackSupport intake, prioritization, resource allocation, and backlog managementPartner with clinical, operational, and IT stakeholders to ensure safe, effective, and value-driven deploymentsCommunicate project status, risks, and requirements to leadership and stakeholders in a clear, structured mannerContribute to budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning for digital patient experience platformsDrive continuous improvement efforts to enhance usability, efficiency, and patient adoption of MyChart capabilities
