The Operations Manager supports QVC, and is responsible for inbound or outbound operations. You will maintain benchmark levels of safety, efficiency, quality, productivity, continuous improvement within the building and throughout the supply chain, as well as the hiring and development of management and hourly teams. You will support the team on days.Where You'll Work
This role is onsite and will require you to work from our Florence, SC daily. Relocation assistance is available for this role.What You'll Do
Build the initial teams, establishing procedures, metrics and processesLead a team of Area Managers and hourly associatesDevelop and administer operational procedures for perfectly completing activities for incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of products, and keeping the highest standards of inventory accuracyGuide strategic planning and forecastingDevelop teammates for career progression and learningImprove safety, quality, cost, and delivery while growing and expanding capabilities within the warehouseUse the site Warehouse Management System (WMS) to improve perfect order fulfillment and provide operational insights to improve WMS effectivenessWhat You'll Bring
4+ years of management experience in fulfillment center/warehouse operations; prefer retail/e-commerce and apparel experience.Experience developing and managing 30+ employees.At least 3 years of management experience in Receiving, Inventory Control, or Order Fulfillment.Experience using Kaizens or process improvementB.S. or B.A. degree or equivalent additional experienceOur Total Rewards package includes benefits you’ll love such as competitive compensation, paid time off, an employee assistance program, parental leave, paid volunteer hours, and amazing company discounts!
