To continue laying the groundwork and challenge what's possible for our business, we seek to partner with individuals ready to elevate their careers with us *Work Arrangement:*Out to sea for 6 months per year *Why Join Crowley:*This opportunity offers the chance to make a difference by partnering with the US Government and contributing to our nation's growth and defense. *What You'll Do?*You will be responsible for overseeing the operation and maintenance of MSC Squadron LAN/IT/Communication equipment installed and the associated reporting on the Military Sealift Command (MSC) T-AK vessels. *Key Responsibilities:* * Manage the care and control of the government communication and IT property in accordance with the Commander, MSC N6 instructions. * Audit the vessel communication and IT equipment to identify spare part inventory at time of turnover to establish inventory baselines. * Develop standing orders and watch standing procedures that are acceptable by the MSC squadron commander and ensure communication watch is maintained. * Order materials on the Navy supply systems as well as coordinating purchases from the commercial sources or other government agencies as required. * Oversee the management the SIPRNET Tokens for the MSC Squadron staff, including acting as the trusted agent. · * Perform as the liaison between the deployed communication detachment, the MSC Squadron Commander and the vessel master. · * Submit periodic reports as required. · * Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, including conveying technical information to technical and non-technical users. · * Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal/external business partners. * Ability to indirectly mentor, coach, train and/or supervise employees. · Ability to function effectively with, or as part of a team.
