Job Description:

Department Overview:

Credit Risk Policy (CRP) group is accountable for review of all enterprise-level and segment level credit policies, model governance for Canadian Non-Retail Models, and lead enterprise level credit risk initiatives including regulatory projects.

The Credit Risk Initiatives group within CRP is accountable for:

Leading enterprise-level credit initiatives such as the overhaul of the Risk-Weighted Assets (RWA) forecast process and other regulatory projects.Credit Risk governance and control processes including the annual Basel IRB compliance attestation.Co-ordinating deliverables and presentations for the Risk Committee of Board (RCoB), Senior Executive Team (SET) and the Financial Risk Management (FRM) forum meetings.

Job Description/Accountabilities:

Within the Credit Risk Initiatives team, the Manager will play a key role in executing and revamping the RWA credit risk forecast process and credit risk analytics with the following accountabilities:

Execute the quarterly Credit Risk RWA forecast, including preparation of presentation materials for risk executives.Develop deep insights into the drivers of RWA, enhance and align forecasting methodologies across the enterprise by integrating new RWA capabilitiesBuild and enhance RWA credit risk reporting and dashboards, ensuring that key messaging is communicated effectively to executives and other stakeholders  Perform additional ad hoc credit risk analyses as required, including sensitivity and scenario analyses to support model and regulatory changes.Enhance governance, documentation and streamline the end-to-end RWA forecasting process.

In addition to the above accountabilities, the Manager will also be responsible for supporting other initiatives, including

Implement and execute new quantitative models used for RWA forecasting and enhance the tool capable of performing sensitivity analysis across various scenarios for BAU and stress-testing,Advance credit risk analytics to provide deep insights that identify portfolio trends, risks, and opportunities.

The role will interact frequently with teams within Credit Risk, Enterprise Capital Management, Finance and Model Development.

Qualifications:

Understanding of regulatory frameworks relate to credit risk, capital requirements, and RWA calculations.Proficient in Python and other programming languages to implement and enhance RWA forecasting modelsStrong analytical skills, with experience in Business Analytical Tools (Power BI, Alteryx) Proven ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders and influence to deliver on key priorities.Project management skills, capable of managing multiple deliverables with competing priorities.Proficient in creating PowerPoint presentations and dashboard that deliver strong messaging for executive level audiencesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsCommitted to continuously find ways to enhance capabilities, improve processes, and strive for better outcomes.

Education / Experience:

A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in capital RWA, credit risk or a related fieldUndergraduate or graduate business degree or equivalent relevant experience.
