And we do it all with heart, each and every day. ***This position requires the ability to travel up to 40%*** **Position Summary** The Manager, Compliance COE will be a key member of the Compliance Monitoring team and will lead the execution of assigned compliance monitoring activities. This role serves as a subject matter expert and is responsible for administrative planning and execution of complex and/or concurrent monitoring activities to evaluate compliance in multiple business areas. Additionally, this role provides day-to-day project management including results reporting and issue follow-up. **Responsibilities/Estimated % of Time** **Compliance Monitoring Plan Execution** (80%) + Plan and execute walkthrough initiatives as well as compliance monitoring testing for assigned monitoring plan activities. This may include concurrent and/or complex business areas. Create clear and accurate documentation of business processes. + Review and be able to discuss, in depth, the business area policies process documentation, contractual obligations, and testing attributes documents prior to beginning testing. + Effectively perform and document monitoring plan activities, including testing (on-site at pharmacy locations and remote), in accordance with department or team’s established procedures. + Analyze procedures and results, assess business impacts, and effectively communicate findings in both written and verbal formats. **Reporting/Communication** (15%) + Draft reports that clearly communicate the purpose, methodology, and outcomes of monitoring activities, tailored to business partners and senior leadership. + Interact with various levels of Compliance department and business line management to communicate status, resolve issues in a timely manner, and maintain effective communications. + Escalate risks and issues to leadership in a timely manner and contribute to developing meaningful solutions. + Collaborate with the Compliance Monitoring team and key stakeholders to develop and maintain key data to track and trend compliance performance for a wide range of CVS Health business units. **Compliance COE Team Support** (5%) + Support departmental initiatives, including identifying and implementing process efficiencies. + Demonstrate a commitment to integrity, the company’s Code of Conduct, and a culture of diversity and inclusion. + Contribute to team activities and initiatives that foster a positive and collaborative work environment. **To be successful in this role, candidates should demonstrate the following competencies:** + **Advanced analytical and critical thinking abilities** , including deductive reasoning and effective problem-solving skills. + **Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills** , with a proven ability to work effectively in team environments. + **Proficient communication capabilities** , including clear and concise oral and written communication, as well as effective meeting facilitation. **Required Qualifications** + 5+ years of experience in relevant fields such as PBM, managed care, healthcare, market conduct exams, compliance, or audit. + Ability to travel up to 40% by car and plane. **Preferred Qualifications** + Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute compliance monitoring plans. + Innovative mindset with a focus on automation and analytics to enhance value for first-line business units. + Strong cross-functional communication skills, including the ability to present to Sr. Leadership. + Ability to build relationships with key stakeholders in a matrixed organization. + Demonstrated project management skills, including developing monitoring activities, documenting testing, and communicating results. + Strong ability to solve complex problems with a collaborative and optimistic attitude. + Excellent business acumen, organizational, and time management skills. + Detail-oriented with the ability to synthesize compliance findings into clear, actionable reports. **Education** Bachelors degree required or equivalent years of related experience. **Anticipated Weekly Hours** 40 **Time Type** Full time **Pay Range** The typical pay range for this role is: $54,300.00 - $145,860.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. Our people fuel our future.
