Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven leader to join our leadership team at the forefront of driving automation-led transformation across Canadian Personal Banking (CPB) Operations. This role is critical in advancing our automation strategy by owning the development, ongoing maintenance, and tracking of a comprehensive roadmap of core automation opportunities in CPB Operations from strategic initiatives to tactical improvements. The ideal candidate combines strong program management skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and, when required, lead the delivery of select automation initiatives.
Key Accountabilities
Roadmap Ownership:
Develop, maintain, and evolve the end-to-end core automation roadmap across the business, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and enterprise transformation objectives.
Use Case Management:
Lead discovery and prioritization of automation use cases in partnership with stakeholders across operations, technology, and business teams.
Tracking & Reporting:
Monitor progress against roadmap milestones and KPIs; develop dashboards and regular status reporting to senior leadership and transformation forums.
Enablement & Delivery Leadership:
Support and, when necessary, lead the delivery of high-priority automation initiatives, ensuring they are executed with quality, agility, and measurable business value.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Act as a central point of coordination between business units, technology teams, and vendor partners to accelerate execution and resolve delivery blockers.
Change Enablement & Best Practices:
Promote automation adoption by developing playbooks, templates, and engagement models that support repeatable and scalable delivery of automation.
Qualifications & Experience:
8+ years of experience in transformation, automation, or process improvement roles, ideally within financial services or large enterprise environments
Strong experience with automation technologies (Microsoft Power Application, PEGA, IDP, UI Path, IVR, RPA, and AI /ML) and their delivery lifecycles
Strong program/project management capabilities; ability to lead cross-functional initiatives with multiple stakeholders
Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and ability to translate complex opportunities into clear, actionable roadmaps
Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills
Familiarity with agile delivery methods and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) is an asset
