Job Summary

The Manager, Content & Publishing plays a critical role in driving Aetna’s content strategy. This individual is responsible for managing the content calendar across internal and external channels, executing publishing workflows, and measuring performance to ensure alignment with business priorities. The role requires a blend of strategic thinking, creative execution, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and manage the enterprise content calendar in partnership with team leadership.Work with content and publishing team to establish and execute publishing processes across internal and external platforms, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.Collaborate cross-functionally with Communications, Marketing, HR, Legal, and other teams to align messaging and amplify reach.Apply audience insights and best practices to optimize content performance and engagement.Support enterprise-wide campaigns and initiatives with high-quality content and channel execution.Maintain consistency and compliance with brand standards and organizational guidelines.Mentor junior team members and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and development.

**The Ideal candidate would reside in the Northeast region and have the ability to travel for business needs**

Qualifications: The candidate will have a strong work ethic, be a self-starter, and be highly productive in a dynamic, collaborative environment. This position offers broad exposure to all aspects of the company’s business, as well as significant interaction with business leaders. The candidate will be expected to have the following key attributes:

5+ years of experience in Communications, Marketing, or related fields; agency experience is a plus.Highly organized and comfortable in a fast-paced and fluid environment.Mix of creative and analytical thinking, with an ability to re-package evergreen content in new and interesting ways.Foundational understanding of internal and external platforms, including but not limited to websites, intranets, internal and external communications skills including but not limited to business and financial acumen, strategic planning, executive. communications, events management, communications materials creation, writing, social media and measurement. 

Education: Bachelor’s Degree Required or equal years of relevant working experience may be considered

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$66,330.00 - $145,860.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
