Job DescriptionThe Content Finance & Analysis team is responsible for analyzing, understanding, and reporting financial performance of content across the Media Group's streaming and linear businesses (Peacock, NBC & Bravo Entertainment & Sports). In partnership with teams across the Media & Studio groups, we evaluate performance of our businesses through a content-focused lens.
We aim to provide leadership with meaningful insights and financial valuations across all major content categories to measure performance of past content investments and advise on future decision-making. The Manager, Content Finance & Analysis role reports to the Senior Director, Content Finance & Analysis.
Responsibilities
Act as team lead focused on the Acquisitions Content Vertical, owning the analysis and reporting of financial performance across key content categories including Premium Film and Library TV & FilmSupport broader Content Analysis team in preparing, consolidating, and summarizing financial and performance data across Peacock and NBCU linear networks on a monthly, quarterly cadence & during key estimate cyclesMaintain, improve & develop new dynamic models to assist in regular KPI tracking, reporting, and analysis across key content areasPrepare presentation materials for senior leadership across finance, strategy, and programming to communicate meaningful insights and trends on timely topicsCalculate LTV financials for key titles and deals in support of the content decision process, including greenlight and renewal decisionsEvaluate and implement new processes to drive automation, standardization, and simplification across all areas to improve efficiency and accuracy of key deliverablesAnalyze content performance trends to advise on business plan risks and opportunities in support of annual Media Group long-range plan & budget cyclesContribute to ad hoc project work supporting the broader Media Group portfolioQualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or similar3+ years experience in a finance or analytics roleExceptional analytical skills required – organized, accurate & detail-orientedMust have advanced proficiency in Excel & PowerPointDesired Qualifications
