Role Overview
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Incentive Design, Competitive Recruiting & Business Programs, the Manager will be responsible for managing and executing competitive recruiting initiatives for our Investment Management businesses in Private Wealth Management. The Manager plays a critical role in supporting distribution leadership teams across the country. This role will assist and support the Senior Manager with process improvements on approvals, partner engagement and identifying target candidate profiles for Branch Managers and Market Managers related to advisor and EPA recruiting.
Key responsibilities of the Manager will include:
Manage, develop and execute internal development programs and external recruitment programs to continue to grow our advisor base nationally
Partner with Talent Acquisition, HR and Practice Management to have full view on programs from prospecting through onboarding including reviewing candidates, curriculum and expectations of our sales leaders
Work closely with Executive Team (Region Heads and Branch Managers) to build confidence in Competitive Recruiting processes including developing offers, support materials and pipeline management
Refine and develop DIA program to continue to grow advisors at a variety of career stages
Key Skills
Strong relationship management skills and excellent communication are required given the diverse audience the Manager will be interacting with
Strategic thinking; ability to bring external/industry trends to identify growth opportunities and align programs with strategic priorities
Networking and Opportunity sourcing; ability to proactively find leads, partnerships and channels to broaden sources of potential candidates
Program or Project Management skills – ability to organize programs, work with a variety of stakeholders and provide reporting on progress to executive audiences
Other general duties to support competitive recruiting such as participation in overall strategy, design, development and implementation
Help to define, document & implement policies and procedures for competitive recruiting while adhering to CIRO regulatory requirements
Actively manage relationships within and across various business lines, and ensure alignment with enterprise and/or regulatory requirements
