OVERVIEW OF THE COMPANYFox TV Stations

FOX Television Stations owns and operates 29 full power broadcast television stations in the U.S. These include stations located in 14 of the top 15 largest designated market areas, or DMAs, and duopolies in 11 DMAs, including the three largest DMAs (New York, Los Angeles and Chicago). Of these stations, 18 are affiliated with the FOX Network. In addition to distributing sports, entertainment and syndicated content, our television stations collectively produce approximately 1,200 hours of local news every week. These stations leverage viewer, distributor and advertiser demand for the FOX Network’s national content.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Compensation Manager will lead the design, administration, and governance of compensation programs supporting Fox Television Stations. This role partners closely with HR Business Partners, Finance, and business leaders to ensure compensation practices are competitive, equitable, and compliant compensation practices aligned, while aligning with Fox’s business strategy and evolving workforce needs.

This is a hands-on role ideal for a compensation professional who thrives in a fast-paced, highly visible environment and can balance strategic thinking with operational execution.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Compensation Strategy & Program Management

Manage day-to-day compensation programs for Fox Television Stations, including base pay, incentive plans, job architecture, and market pricingSupport annual compensation processes such as merit planning, bonus administration, and salary structure updatesPartner with HRBPs and business leaders on compensation decisions for related to new hires, promotions, transfers, and retention actions

Market Analysis & Job Architecture

Conduct job evaluations and benchmarking using market survey data to ensure competitive and consistent pay practicesMaintain job levels, titles, and salary ranges aligned with Fox’s job architecture and governance standardsAnalyze internal equity and market positioning, recommending and recommend adjustments as needed

Governance, Compliance & Reporting

Ensure compensation programs comply with federal, state, and local regulations (, including pay transparency and wage/hour requirements)Support audits, reporting, and documentation related to compensation practicesPrepare compensation analytics, dashboards, and ad hoc reporting for leadership and Finance

Stakeholder Partnership

Act as a trusted advisor to HRBPs and leaders on compensation best practices and policy interpretationCollaborate with Finance on budgeting, forecasting, and headcount planningContribute to broader Total Rewards initiatives and enterprise-wide compensation projects

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or a related field7+ years of progressive compensation experience, preferably in media, entertainment, or a complex, multi-location organizationStrong knowledge of compensation principles, market pricing, and incentive designExperience supporting annual compensation cycles and partnering with senior stakeholdersAdvanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilitiesStrategic and analytical mindset with strong attention to detailAbility to influence and communicate effectively with leaders at all levelsSound judgment and discretion when handling sensitive informationComfortable navigating ambiguity and balancing competing priorities

NICE TO HAVES

Experience supporting both union and non-union employee populationsFamiliarity with Workday and market pricing tools (e.g., Radford, Croner)Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or progress toward certificationExperience working in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $114,000.00-140,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
