We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Manager to lead our Capital Planning function within Clinical Operations. This highly visible role will be responsible for championing financial transparency across critical initiatives by managing the capital planning process end-to-end, ensuring accurate and efficient tracking of committed value ensuring alignment with the organization’s goals. The ideal candidate will possess a strong business acumen and have a product and growth mindset to effectively execute the capital planning strategy and comprehensively manage the key success metrics of the portfolio. This leader will collaborate with PA Operations, Resource Planning, Finance, Value Pool, Analytics & Behavior Change, Product, Engineering, Process Innovation, and more to assess capital needs, optimize resource allocation, and provide insights to inform decision making.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Lead the Clinical Operations capital planning process
+ Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to identify capital needs and prepare capital proposals
+ Analyze financial data and trends to forecast capital requirements and returns on investment
+ Conduct risk assessments related to capital investments and develop mitigation strategies
+ Manage the capital budget and tracking expenditures against approved budgets
+ Represent Clinical Operations in capital planning discussions with the Value Pool governance team and other stakeholders
+ Maintain and update the Clinical Operations capital planning summary and value tracker
+ Collaborate with the DDAT Project Management Office (PMO) to ensure capital dollars are properly allocated to IT Project Requests
+ Partner with Strategic Initiatives, Process, Operations, and Support teams to track and update committed value
+ Work closely with Resource Planning and Finance to ensure savings are accurately reflected in budget and staffing plans
+ Track and report on business expense usage across Clinical Operations initiatives
+ Present financial performance and capital utilization in governance and leadership meetings
+ Effectively communicate capital submission timelines and coordinate with appropriate stakeholders
+ Design smarter ways to manage capital and product investments; continually challenge the status quo
Qualifications:
+ 5+ years of proven experience in capital planning, financial management or product management roles
+ 2+ years analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data
+ 2+ years utilizing financial tools and systems (e.g., Excel)
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Knowledge of pharmacy prior authorization and clinical programs
+ Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with and influence stakeholders at all levels
+ Demonstrated ability to think strategically and execute tactically, with a focus on delivering measurable results
Education
+ Bachelor's degree preferred/specialized training/relevant professional qualification.

**Pay Range**
The typical pay range for this role is:
$54,300.00 - $132,600.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
