**I. Job Summary**
We are seeking a visionary and results-driven Business Intelligence (BI) Manager to lead our analytics team within the Procurement department. This role offers a unique opportunity to manage talented BI developers while shaping the analytics strategy that empowers procurement leaders to make data-driven decisions across multiple regions.
**II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities** include the following. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.
+ Lead, mentor, and develop a team of BI developers and analysts, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
+ Design and execute the end-to-end business intelligence strategy for the procurement function, aligned with the organization’s global objectives.
+ Collaborate closely with procurement stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into actionable analytics solutions.
+ Oversee the deployment, maintenance, and continuous improvement of BI platforms, dashboards, and reporting tools.
+ Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security in all procurement-related analytics and reporting initiatives.
+ Champion the adoption of advanced analytics techniques (e.g., data mining, predictive modeling, spend analytics) to uncover opportunities and optimize procurement performance.
+ Drive initiatives to automate reporting, improve data accessibility, and enhance self-service capabilities for procurement users.
+ Monitor KPIs, prepare executive reports, and present actionable insights to senior leadership.
+ Keep abreast of emerging BI technologies and best practices, assessing their applicability for continuous improvement.
+ Coordinate with IT and data governance teams to ensure compliance with enterprise data standards.
**III. Supervisory Responsibilities**
The highest level of supervisory skills required in this job is the management of supervisory employees. This includes:
Direct supervision of _3_ full-time employees, including BI Developers and analysts
Indirect supervision of 0_ full-time employees.
**IV. Qualifications**
The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job.
A. Education & Experience
Required:
+ Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related field.
+ 5+ years of progressive experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a related domain, or 10+ years without required education.
Preferred:
+ Experience in a large multinational corporation or complex organizations.
+ Certification in relevant BI tools or methodologies (e.g., Microsoft Power Platform, Tableau, Six Sigma, PMP).
+ Familiarity with procurement technologies (e.g., SAP Ariba, Coupa) and integration with BI solutions.
+ Understanding of data privacy regulations and compliance (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
B. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements
None required.
C. Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required
+ Strong experience managing and developing technical teams, preferably in the business intelligence and analytics space.
+ Expertise in BI tools and platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, Spotfire, or similar.
+ Proven track record in designing and implementing analytics strategies that drive measurable value.
+ Deep understanding of procurement processes, spend data, and sourcing analytics in a global context.
+ Hands-on experience with SQL, data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehouses.
+ Outstanding communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
+ Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed organization.
