The Manager, Business Process Excellence (BPE) for SAP and Accounting – North America, will be primarily responsible for supporting SAP and process improvement projects across North America and the Corporate Region. These projects may support global accounting external reporting BPE teams, North America/Corporate Region functional BPE initiatives, or North America/Corporate Finance process and systems improvements.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, BPE Americas and Global Lease Accounting, the ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of project management expertise in financial systems and process enhancements. This includes experience in developing comprehensive project plans, managing budgets, and adhering to deliverable schedules. Demonstrated proficiency in SAP project management, S/4HANA, and a strong understanding of SAP FI/CO are essential requirements for this role.

Role would be a hybrid setting of 2-3 days in our East Hanover, New Jersey office 

Responsibilities:

Represent North America / Corporate Finance in weekly Global Record to Report (RTR) Business Process Excellence (BPE) meetings to ensure decisions are made with North America / Corporate interests in mind.  Report out to North America / Corporate Accounting Teams decisions and implications of decisions.

Lead the North America / Corporate Regional execution of the global design projects for Record to Report (RTR).  This may include leading blueprint and design efforts, testing and coordination of User Acceptance as well as training, security and change management.  Identify need for executional resources if required.

Collaborate with Record to Report (RTR) BPO on various global projects.  

Work with North America / Corporate Finance teams on process and systems enhancements and linkage into Global programs. Once the business need is identified, work with Mondelēz Digital Services (MDS) to determine if needs can be addressed with global solution.  

Work collaboratively with the other region Business Process Excellence (BPE) counterparts to ensure harmonization of processes and system design.

Collect business requirements and co-ordinate with Technical teams for system changes and continuous improvement.

As needed Ad hoc regional requests.

As needed monthly close support for SAP issues during close.

Provide necessary SAP trainings to business users.

Review and approve Finance Master data requests.

Lead regional /Global projects as needed


 

More about this role

Qualifications:

6 or more years of Accounting experience is required

Strong SAP experience is required. S4 Hana is preferable.

Knowledge of SAP FI/CO, S4 Hana and Product Costing are required

Demonstrated project management experience in financial systems and process improvements

Outstanding leadership skills

Team player who manages collaboratively with all stakeholders

Strong influencing and communication skills, and ability to lead informal teams

Advanced Excel skills, technical skills, problem solving, challenging assertive approach

Needs to be able to handle/analyze large amounts of complex data

Ability to work with details/understand business implications

Education:

Bachelor of Science and/or Business degree in Accounting or Finance, M.B.A. preferred

Compensation:

The base salary range for this position is $106,300 to $146,200; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
