**Position Purpose:** The **Manager of Bankcards** is responsible for managing external relationships with the Bankcards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, AMEX) as well as PayPal. Partner with vendors on bringing to market new payment functions/innovations, technological enhancements, and process improvements that drive sales and improve the customer experience at the lowest cost. Core responsibilities include ensuring THD's contractual obligations with card brands are met and THD's compliance with the global card brand rules. Works with Payments IT/Product teams to implement any technology required to comply with these rules. **Key Responsibilities:** **Contract/Vendor Management** + Managing contractual obligations with card brands to ensure pricing, minimum volumes, vendor performance metrics/SLAs, etc. are met; assist with formal exceptions/waivers and vendor negotiations as needed. + Works with the card and industry groups to analyze semi-annual card brand releases and impacts to THD's processing costs. **IT Prioritization** + Partners with IT and Product teams on key initiatives (either new technology or compliance-related) and tracking against those initiatives on a monthly/quarterly basis (or more frequently as needed) to drive them to completion. **Stakeholder Management** + Clear and concise communicator + Builds trust with card brands and partner with them to bring new solutions to market **Preferred Qualifications:** + Strong organizational skills to manage projects end-to-end + Experience with project management tools + Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment + Clear and concise communicator + Builds trust with business partners through proven results + Strong verbal and written communication skills.
