Position: Manager, Advanced Analytics

Duties: Analyze and mine both structured and unstructured data to drive product centric and user centric insights. Proactively identify opportunities to leverage insights and drive product improvements across multiple functions throughout the organization. Design, monitor, and analyze A/B testing with statistical calculations (such as t-test, power analysis). Use SQL and Python to query, retrieve, process, and analyze large amounts of clickstream and transactions data from different databases such as Teradata, BigQuery, Google cloud, and Hive. Provide data driven insights and deliver recommendations with a deep understanding of business problems. Connect data, analytics, and people to develop and implement creative solutions to support a variety of eCommerce products. Provide analytics and technical expertise to management, product managers, and data engineering teams to identify business opportunities and optimize product performance/engagement. Use data engineering, R, Python, and SQL to manipulate structured and unstructured data sources for analysis. Create effective reporting and dashboards by applying expertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Splunk, and Looker to monitor product performance. This position does not supervise other employees.
Minimum education and experience required: Master’s degree or equivalent in Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Analytics, or related field; OR Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Analytics, or related field and 2 years of experience in data analytics or related field.
Skills required: Experience identifying target and guardrail metrics for the A/B test and carrying out statistical analysis to develop an experimental design. Experience using Pandas, Numpy, and Regex Libraries in Python to analyze structured and unstructured data. Experience creating reporting and dashboards by using data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker or PowerBI) to monitor product performance. Experience utilizing SQL, Python, or R to analyze the data and identify patterns of customer behavior and site performance. Experience implementing rule based, heuristic, or time series based prescriptive analytics techniques using Python and R to identify opportunities to improve customer engagement. Experience using analytical modelling technique Kmeans clustering, SVM, KNN classification, or decision trees to develop recommendations for customers. Experience developing hypothesis for drivers of change in the domain metrics and carrying out exploratory analysis using SQL and Python to test the hypothesis. Experience proactively applying problem solving and debugging to identify problems in data pipelines and cooperating with engineers to fix issues. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.
Salary Range: $138,911/year to $202,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) and Stock equity incentives.
