As a Management Nurse Associate, you play a critical behind‑the‑scenes role supporting Nurse Managers and ensuring smooth daily operations across multiple units, departments, and, in some cases, campuses. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing data, people, and processes while contributing to the success of nursing leadership and frontline care teams.
In this role, you will provide comprehensive administrative and operational support, particularly in payroll, scheduling, compliance, and workforce management, for 150 to 350 teammates. Your work will directly support operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and a positive teammate experience.
Essential Functions
Support payroll responsibilities for 150–350 teammates across multiple units, departments, and campuses under Nurse Manager supervisionMaintain working knowledge of system policies, procedures, labor management guidelines, and healthcare regulationsEnsure accurate time code allocation; monitor and reconcile time and labor edits, trends, and discrepanciesMonitor appropriate use of incremental and general overtime by teammate, department, and unitManage daily scheduling changes and staffing adjustmentsTrack and maintain monthly healthcare license verification and required documentationMaintain and update ShiftSelect credentialsTrack teammate PTO to ensure requests meet eligibility requirements for approvalManage MLOA/FMLA reporting and monthly reconciliationsMonitor premium pay programs and support compliance with related guidelinesParticipate in candidate interviews as requestedManage multiple projects simultaneously while supporting operational prioritiesProvide general administrative and operational support to assigned Nurse ManagersSupport cross‑functional areas and additional operational projects aligned with organizational goalsMaintain awareness of healthcare trends and regulatory requirements impacting workforce operationsEducation, Experience & Certifications
