The Role

Reporting to the Financial Controller, ANZ this role will be key in supporting with the continued growth and transformation of the Travelex business in the ANZ region. This role will predominately be responsible for the reporting for the Retail business stream to ensure the Finance deliverables and analysis are delivered in a timely manner where key finance milestones such as month end, budget, audits and finance transformation are met. In addition to the day to day the role will be providing analysis to support critical business decisions and opportunities.

This role will need to develop strong business relationships with business stakeholders, as well as local and global counterparts including working closely with the offshore GL and Reconciliations teams in Mumbai.

Key accountabilities include:

Month-end Analysis and reportingAnnual budgeting and quarterly forecastingCommercial support to the Travelex Retail and business solutions team in ANZIntercompany account managementCash flow and CAPEX reportingWorking closely with the finance team locally and develop solid working relationships with the finance shared services teamSupport with Audits and other Finance initiatives and events.

Your previous experience working within a multi-national and matrixed organization will be highly desirable.

Key attributes:

Degree in Accounting / Finance and CA/ CPA qualifiedMinimum of 5 years’ experience in Finance within a commercial environmentStrong attention to detail and solid financial accounting experienceAbility to communicate financial information to non-finance stakeholdersExperience with Oracle and Blackline would be highly desirable, complimented by strong Excel skills
