The Managed Care Policy Specialist provides leadership, coordination, and oversight of Minnesota’s managed care programs, including Minnesota Senior Health Options (MSHO), Minnesota Senior Care Plus (MSC+), and Special Needs Basic Care (SNBC) – both Integrated and Non-Integrated. The role focuses on ensuring alignment of policies, procedures, and quality monitoring related to home and community-based services (HCBS) and home care for individuals of all ages. The position is responsible for maintaining compliance with State and Federal guidelines, including requirements from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), through the accurate completion and maintenance of Health Risk Assessments and corresponding support plans within the MnCHOICES application. It ensures consistency and quality across HCBS programs within the Aging and Disability Services Administration by leading the development, implementation, and evaluation of managed care requirements and policies. **Minimum Qualifications** **_**To facilitate proper crediting, please ensure that your resume clearly describes your experience in the areas listed and indicates the beginning and ending month, day and year for each job held.**_** 3 years professional experience with Medicare and Medicaid policies and benefits.
