Due to increased business demand, we require several Team Leaders to join our established and high-performing team based in the Auckland Airport precinct.

The Team Leader reports into the Shift Supervisor within our Make & Pack team and supports the Shift Supervisor to ensure the shift runs effectively and the agreed deliverables and deadlines are met within compliance standards.

You will focus on:

Leading a team to achieve set targets.Leads and participates in shift briefings.Maintains overall productivity within designated area against area objectives and targets.Lead, coach and train team members  to achieve targets according to department standards.Ensures and maintains legal/ HACCP compliance across health and safety, food safety & security.At times performs administrative duties and maintains the correct documentation.Responsible for correct collection of operational throughput and communication to Supervisor and operational management.Responsible for daily mechanical maintenance, cleaning and preventative measures.

About you

Experience working in a fast-paced environment, preferably in food manufacturing or services.Food hygiene, security, H&S experience/qualification preferred.Experience in or have interest in team leading.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Good computer literacy skills.Full & unrestricted working rights for New Zealand.Flexibility to work within a 7-day rotational roster.
