Job Summary
The Project Manager will be responsible for managing small to large scale O&M and Capital projects associated with and including budget maintenance, and adherence to projects schedule/milestones. They will build and develop the project team to ensure maximum performance, by providing purpose, direction, and motivation.The Project Manager will lead projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and implementation plans, including risk mitigation, coordinate internal and external resources to ensure that projects adhere to scope, schedule, and budget, analyze project status and, when necessary, revise the scope, schedule, or budget to ensure that project requirements can be met and establish and maintain relationships with relevant client stakeholders, providing day-to-day contact on project status and changes.

Key Accountabilities
Provide overall leadership and direction for the major project within an EPC delivery model.Provide oversight of EPC performance and hold contractor accountable to contractual obligations in all project phasesMaintain project risk register and verify implementation of mitigating actions to minimize project riskEnsure owner responsibilities are satisfied to support successful project implementationResponsible for tracking financials, validating invoices and progress payments, management of claims and disputesProvide clear communication to internal and external stakeholders regarding project status, risks, and decisions neededMonitor project scope and ensure scope growth is approved in accordance with established protocolsFacilitate coordination with internal and external stakeholders, such as engineering, maintenance, operations, training, outage management, and securityEnsure project readiness for turnover, testing, and operationsOversee EPC construction planning, readiness, and execution and compliance with site procedures and safety expectationsEscalate project challenges and performance issues, and implement corrective actions in a timely mannerSupport generation of project reporting requirementsAnalyze project status and, when necessary, revise the scope, schedule, or budget to ensure that project requirements can be metDevelop and maintain high quality project management documentation.Track project financials, ensuring project forecasts are maintained and actual cost variances are understoodFunction as traditional Project Manager for projects outside the EPC scopeProject Manager functional areas: Mechanical, Mechanical/Structural, Digital/I&C, Electrical, OEM (Turbine/Generator or NSSS Projects)Education, Experience, & Skill Requirements
Secondary/High school diploma with five years of experience leading and managing projects within the past eight years OR a Bachelor’s Degree or higher with three years of experience leading and managing projects within the past eight years required.Four years or experience at a commercial nuclear power plant preferredProfessional certification such as CAPM or PMP recommended / within 2 years of becoming Project Manager.Strong attention to schedule deadlines and budgetary guidelinesProven success working with all levels of management.Strong written and oral/verbal communication skills, including the ability to make formal presentations to management.Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)Willing and able to support domestic travel (including overnight travel) to various vendor / company locations.Key Metrics
