Job Title: Maintenance Worker

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Worker with mechanical experience to join our team. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain and ensure the safety and operational efficiency of our packaging equipment on the production floor. This role is ideal for someone with mechanical knowledge who is eager to grow within a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Maintain all mechanical and some electrical components of the packaging equipment.Ensure all packaging equipment is safe to operate and in good running condition.Assist in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues with packaging equipment.

Essential Skills

6 months to 2 years of mechanical experience or equivalent knowledge.Trade School or Technical School Certification (such as BOCES, Lincoln Tech, etc.).Ability to use hand and power tools effectively.Ability to read and interpret blueprints.Mechanical aptitude and experience with troubleshooting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and preventive maintenance.Experience in a GMP manufacturing environment is a plus.High School Diploma or GED.Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Orangeburg, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
