Responsibilities:
Perform skilled maintenance and repairs of production equipment related to injection and blow molding, as well as automation systems, ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and minimal downtime.

Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automation issues in equipment. Work closely with the lead and supervisors to ensure timely resolution of problems to keep production running smoothly.

Execute and follow preventive maintenance programs to extend the life of equipment and prevent unplanned downtime.

Work closely with production, maintenance lead, and plant supervisors to plan and prioritize repairs, maintenance tasks, and equipment upgrades. Ensure effective communication regarding task completion and equipment status.

Use the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for daily reporting and documentation of maintenance activities, work orders, parts usage, and equipment status.

Follow all safety rules and procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Arc Flash, and personal protective equipment (PPE) use. Ensure work is completed in compliance with all relevant regulations (GMP, 5S standards).

Conduct routine checks, diagnostics, and repairs of automation systems to ensure that they operate efficiently and integrate well with production equipment.

Assist with any additional duties and tasks as needed to support plant operations and ensure overall efficiency.

Working hours: 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM

Skills:
3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing maintenance role preferred, ideally within injection or blow molding operations and automation systems.

Education:
High School

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
Proven ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automation issues, including experience working with automation equipment and PLC systems.

Experience or willingness to learn to work with CMMS for daily maintenance reporting and documentation is required.

Knowledge of safety protocols, including LOTO, Arc flash, Fork Truck, Crane, and GMP.

Experience with preventive maintenance programs

High school diploma or GED preferred, or equivalent industry experience.

Technical Expertise: Strong skills in diagnosing and repairing injection, blow molding, automation, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly and effectively.

Collaboration: Strong communication skills, working effectively with the lead, supervisors, and team members to ensure equipment uptime and smooth operations.
