**Industrial Maintenance Mechanic – Summerville, SC (UP TO $35/HR)** A leading manufacturing facility in Summerville, SC is hiring a skilled Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to support its production operations. This role is ideal for someone with strong troubleshooting abilities and a willingness to grow within a fast-paced environment. **Key Responsibilities** + Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on production equipment to ensure optimal performance and reduce unplanned downtime. + Conduct corrective maintenance and emergency repairs on mechanical and electrical systems, including conveyors, motors, and sensors. + Troubleshoot and resolve issues with photo eyes, sensors, and control components to maintain consistent production flow. + Maintain and repair large-scale mixers, blending machines, and encapsulation equipment, ensuring proper calibration and operation. + Inspect and service motors, gearboxes, and drive systems, replacing worn or damaged parts as needed. + Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify root causes of equipment failures and implement long-term solutions. + Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage in the maintenance management system. + Follow all safety protocols and ensure compliance with plant standards, including the consistent use of PPE throughout the facility. **Qualifications** + Proven experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing environment. + Strong troubleshooting skills with mechanical, electrical, and automation systems. + PLC experience is a plus, but not required. + Must be adaptable, coachable, and eager to learn. + Must be comfortable wearing PPE at all times throughout the plant. + Familiarity with safety protocols and compliance standards. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. **Schedule** + Regular Shift: Thursday, Friday, Saturday | 5:00 PM – 5:30 AM + Training Period: Monday to Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (for approximately one month) + Potential to transition to first shift in the future **Compensation** + $32–$34+ per hour + No overtime **Benefits** + Clean, climate-controlled facility + Great schedule with 3-day work weeks + Supportive and positive team culture + Not physically demanding or stressful + Employee discounts on products + Gym reimbursement program **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $64480.00 - $70720.00/yr.
