Maintenance Technician/Tool Room
**Job Title: 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated and skilled 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of equipment and tools, ensuring they are in optimal working condition. You will play a crucial role in supporting our operational needs by ensuring the availability and reliability of tools and equipment. **Responsibilities** + Conduct routine inspections of tools and equipment to ensure safety and functionality. + Coordinate with vendors for proper maintenance and calibration of EB equipment. + Manage inventory, order repair parts, and maintain welding and heating equipment. + Repair and maintain fume extractors, breathing air systems, and various pneumatic tools. + Track repairs and manage the issuance and return of tools and consumables. + Provide backup support for the distribution of tools and consumables to employees. **Essential Skills** + Strong mechanical skills with experience in blueprint reading, repair, and installation. + Proficiency in electrical wiring, fabrication, and preventive maintenance. + Experience in maintenance of industrial manufacturing equipment. + Ability to troubleshoot and repair welding, piping, and conduit equipment. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High School diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary trade school completion preferred. + At least three years of mechanical experience in an industrial setting. + Knowledge of welding, grinding, heating, and pneumatic equipment. + Must be able to work effectively in a team and be self-motivated. + Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and record-keeping skills. + Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and forklift experience required. **Why Work Here?** + Join a team that values your skills and expertise, offering comprehensive benefits such as 401(k) plans, dental, health, and vision insurance, along with paid time off. The role involves physical activity, including lifting up to 75 lbs, and working in various positions such as sitting, standing, walking, and operating a forklift. You may be exposed to diverse weather conditions and uneven surfaces, with occasional climbing and descending of ladders and stairways. **Job Type & Location** + This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $34.00/hr.
