About the Role:
CBRE is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our site in Plainsboro, NJ. You will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and general building systems in 6 building global fragrance and taste manufacturing company campus.
This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs of equipment and systems.
Hours are Day Shift 10AM-6PM with free parking!
What You’ll Do:
+ Perform routine and preventive HVAC system maintenance, diagnose operational issues, and complete repairs to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
+ Conduct inspections, identify potential system failures, and complete mechanical and electrical repairs following established procedures.
+ Follow scheduled PM tasks across HVAC, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other facility systems.
+ Document work through CMMS/work order systems and ensure timely completion.

Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.Impact team through defined duties, methods and tasks as described in detail.Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems. Exchange straightforward information in a clear, concise manner.Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.Review assigned work orders and partner with available systems to track completion.Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.EPA Universal/608High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including
a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the position
is or $28.00 per hour and the maximum salary for the position is
$33.00 per hour. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate
will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
