Job Description
Perform preventative maintenance as scheduled daily, weekly, quarterly, and yearly using a PM computer system and paperwork. Responsible for understanding and executing full equipment breakdowns in any necessary PM event, and determining any frequency change in PM structure for production equipment based on knowledge and experience. Lead training for team members on all plant-wide PMs and assist in planning and executing repairs and/or replacements of facility equipment, such as compressors, boilers, and HVAC units. Respond quickly to emergency situations, perform setup, takedown, and reconfiguration of production equipment and furniture, and fabricate lines, conveyors, machine equipment, and tools used in production areas.
ResponsibilitiesSupervise and mentor maintenance staff; provide hands-on training and performance guidanceAssign personnel based on operational priorities and facility needsCoordinate and lead facility improvement projects, equipment upgrades, and new installationsManage inventory and procurement of maintenance supplies and toolsDevelop and oversee maintenance schedules, ensuring timely execution of tasksAdminister daily, weekly, quarterly, and annual PM routines using digital systems and documentationPerform routine tasks: replacing filters and lights, lubricating components, adjusting belts, replacing wheels/castorsPerform daily facility walkthroughs to identify issues and ensure operational readinessInspect boiler and air compressor systems for oil levels, pressure, leaks, temperature, and water qualityMonitor electrical systems and respond to alarms or outagesExecute repairs on plumbing, lighting, furniture, doors, and building hardwareSupport emergency response efforts and coordinate additional resources when neededReconfigure production equipment and office setups as requiredDesign and fabricate custom production lines, conveyors, and toolsOperate fabrication equipment: welders, torches, band saws, drill presses, pneumatic and cordless toolsPerform diagnostics, adjustments, and repairs on production machineryReplace motors, belts, and other mechanical components as neededAssist with machine disassembly and reassembly during cleaning and maintenance cycles (CIP)Ensure all maintenance activities comply with local codes, safety regulations, and company policiesEssential SkillsProficiency in electrical troubleshooting and schematic reading.Ability to read and understand electrical wiring diagrams.Experience with PLC troubleshooting and ladder logic.Skilled in computer technology, electronics, and automation technology.Ability to troubleshoot electrical controls and related process issues.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in reading and interpreting electrical wiring diagrams.Ability to operate heavy equipment safely.Experience with fabrication tools such as band saws, torches, and welders.Work Environment
The position operates on a second shift schedule from 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM, Sunday through Thursday, and Tuesday through Saturday. Third shift operates from 8:00 PM to 4:30 AM, Sunday through Thursday, and Tuesday through Saturday. You will work alongside a team including Lead Mechanics, Mechanic Level 2, Mechanic Level 1, and Maintenance Supervisors. The role involves using various tools and equipment including forklifts, scissor lifts, electric pallet jacks, and electric hoists.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $83200.00 - $87360.00/yr.
