**Job Title: Maintenance Technician**
**Job Description**
The Maintenance Mechanic plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of mechanical equipment at the facility. Reporting to the Facility Technical Manager, this position is responsible for conducting and overseeing maintenance tasks to ensure safety and efficiency.
**Responsibilities**
+ Follow all work instructions and safety rules without exception, including the use of PPE and safety gear.
+ Reinforce safety instructions and rules among peers.
+ Contribute to the general housekeeping of the entire plant area, including the maintenance shop.
+ Practice safety in all actions, including startup, shutdown, and lockout/tagout procedures.
+ Exhibit excellent forklift skills and be trained on all lifts used in the plant.
+ Maintain knowledge of OSHA requirements relevant to daily activities.
+ Fulfill responsibilities required by the Quality System for the plant.
+ Utilize the CMMS to schedule preventive maintenance effectively to minimize production downtime.
+ Complete, maintain, and process all necessary documents related to repairs, purchases, and other appropriate activities.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ 3-5 years of technical training and experience
+ Minnesota Boiler License Grade 2B or higher
+ Fabrication or welding experience
**Work Environment**
This position operates within a non-climate-controlled manufacturing facility, requiring adherence to safety standards and the use of appropriate safety gear.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $72000.00/yr.
